Kevin G Beard

Kevin G. Beard, 61, of Mt. Morris, Illinois, passed away on November 1, 2026.

Born and raised in Mt. Morris, Kevin was a lifelong resident who deeply valued his roots. After proudly serving his country in the military, he returned home and went to work at the local factory where his parents had worked. Following the closing of the factory, Kevin transitioned to a career as a truck driver, showcasing his characteristic work ethic and adaptability.

Outside of work, Kevin was an avid sports fan who fiercely loved the Chicago Bears. Some of his favorite moments were spent watching football, sharing laughs at the local bar, and enjoying the company of his close friends and family.

Kevin is survived by his beloved wife, Jeanette; his mother, Joan V. Beard; his three sons, Kevin Jr., Nate, and Zach; and his sister, Sheri (Valerie) Beard. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald "Ike" Beard.

A celebration of life will be held at the Idle Hour in Mt. Morris, IL, on November 14th, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. In honor of Kevin, please wear your best Bears apparel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Beard family.
