Kent D Olson

Mission, TX, Kent D. Olson, age 88, passed away peacefully in Comfort House, McAllen, TX on July 30, 2025. Kent was born on December 21, 1936 in Mauston, WI; the son of Max & Mildred (Meng) Olson. Kent was a veteran of the Koren Conflict. He married Lucille Medlin on October 9, 1965 in Stillman Valley, IL and she preceded him in death on February 19, 1999. He is a retired over the road truck driver. Kent lived in the Leaf River Area for 40 years before staying in Mission, TX.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday August 6, 2025 in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Per Kent’s wishes a burial will be held at a later time in North Evangelical Cemetery, Leaf River, IL.
