Kenneth Earl Vanbuskirk Sr

Dixon, IL, Kenneth Earl Vanbuskirk, age 75, passed away on March 14, 2021 at home of Cancer surrounded by his family.  Ken was born on April 17, 1945 in Whiteside County, IL the son of Henry & Margaret (Miller) Vanbuskirk.  Ken married Deloris Mailand on May 24, 1980 in Rock Falls, IL, and they just celebrated their 40 year anniversary.

He worked at Kable Printing Company, Laborers Local 727, Haas Roofing, and Drew Excavating.  He loved to restore old cars and trucks, dirt track racing, going to Bluegrass festivals, camping, helping friends and neighbors, but most of all his time with his grandchildren.

Ken is survived by his wife: Deloris; daughters: Peggy (Paul) Miskell, Joann Payne, son: Kenneth (Nikki) Vanbuskirk Jr; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brothers: David and Jack; sisters: Linda, Sharon, Pam, and Karen.

Ken is preceded by his parents; great grandson: Edward; brothers: Donald and Henry.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday March 17, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. in Egan Cemetery, Egan, IL with Rev. Frank Lay officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday March 17, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until service time in Egan Cemetery, Egan, IL.
