Joseph L Bradshaw

Mt. Morris, IL, Joseph L. Bradshaw Sr., age 88, died March 19, 2012 in KSB Hospital, Dixon, IL. Joseph was born April 1, 1923 in O'Fallon, IL, the son of Richard & Viva (DeVoe) Bradshaw. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Joseph married Marlene M. Horst on September 4, 1954, in Oregon, IL. He worked as a grocery man for Royal Blue, Jamesway, and Kroger retiring in 1972. He was a Scout Master for Boy Scouts Troop 66, he also was a wood carver, cabinet maker, and antique restorer. Survived by wife Marlene Bradshaw, Mt. Morris, IL; 2 Sons: Joseph L. "Charlie" Bradshaw Jr. and Jeff Bradshaw, Both of Mt. Morris, IL; Daughter: Carrie (Tom) Ingram, Speedwell, TN; 6 Grandchildren; several Great-Grandchildren; Brother: Jim (Francis) Bradshaw; Sisters: Ann (Don) Houtz and Adeline. Joseph is preceded in death by Parents; 2 Brothers and 1 Sister. Memorial service will be in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL, Friday, March 23, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Frank Lay officiating.
