Joan Pattermann

Joan Pattermann, 77 Joan passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Polo Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. Joan was born January 15, 1940 in Wheaton, IL the daughter of Wilfred and Matilda (nee Borter) Mittman. She was united in marriage to LeRoy Pattermann. He preceded her in death on June 08, 1998. They had a beautiful marriage and were a blessing to each other. Joan was a loving wife and mother who gave herself selflessly in caring for and raising her family. She had a beautiful faith in God which she passed on to others by word and example. She loved to watch birds and enjoyed the beauty of nature. She loved gardening and canning food, she was an excellent cook and enjoyed making favorite foods for others. She loved people. She is survived by her children and spouses; Mike (Kathy) Pattermann, Aurora IL, Ed (Sue) Pattermann, Syracuse NY, Jean (Brad) Hagemann, Mt Morris IL and 7 loving grandchildren: Elizabeth Pattermann, Rachel Pattermann, Christopher Pattermann, Emily Pattermann, Abby Pattermann, Danielle Hagemann, Megan Hagemann; her sister Nancy (Frank) Biese, her brother Leo Mittman, many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Services and Mass of Christian Burial for Joan M. Pattermann, 77 of Mount Morris Il will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 211 N. Franklin Ave Polo, IL 61054. Burial will be at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, 1533 IL-26 Polo, IL 61064. The family will greet friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Finch Funeral Home 405 E. Hitt St, Mt Morris, IL 61054. The family is most thankful for all that cared for mom and blessed her in visiting her. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Mary Catholic Church and/or Serenity Hospice & Home.
