Jeri L Lehrke

Mt. Morris, IL, Jeri Lehrke, 81, passed away on June 12, 2026 in Serenity Hospice & Home after a short illness. Jeri was born on November 22, 1944 in Dixon, IL; the daughter of Harold & Lucille (Yocum) Zoeller. She graduated from Mt. Morris High School class of 1962.

Jeri married Gerald Lehrke on January 11, 1964 in the Oregon Methodist Church; and he preceded her in death on July 15, 2023. She worked in the Ogle County Courthouse with the county clerks office for 23 years.

Jeri was an excellent sewer and painter of old saws and wood pieces.

Jeri is survived by her son: Jeff (Kate) Lehrke, Oregon, IL, twin daughters: Janet (Phil) Platz, Oregon, IL and Julie (Tim) Border, Mt. Morris, IL; grandsons: Steve, Joshua, and Andrew; granddaughters: Sarah (Alex) Ellsworth and Kyla (Joshua) Adams; great grandsons: Dexter and Jaspyr; brothers: Ron Zoeller, Machesney Park, IL, Bob (Nancy) Zoeller, Rockton, IL, and Russ (Laurie) Zoeller, Lynchburg, VA; sister: Sandy Blake, Mt. Morris, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents; husband: Gerald; grandson: Jarod Lehrke; and sisters: Debbie (At Birth) and Beverly.

A memorial service will be held on Friday July 3, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL with Rev Rodney Caldwell officiating. Burial of cremains will be held in Lighthouse Cemetery, Oregon, IL. A visitation will be held on Friday July 3, 2026 from 10:00 A.M. until service time in Finch Funeral Home.
