Jeffrey Branscomb

Forreston, IL, Jeff “Big Daddy” Branscomb, 49, of Forreston, passed away suddenly at home on the morning of April 10, 2024.  He was born August 3,1974 to Deborah & Roger Branscomb and lived his whole life close to family.

Jeff worked at Kable Printing/Quebecor in Mt. Morris for 14 years, at Americold in Rochelle for 13 years and was excited to begin his new career with the US Postal Service.  Jeff loved any and all sports with his favorite teams the Bears, the Blackhawks and the White Sox and especially enjoyed his Fantasy Football leagues.  Jeff was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Jeff is survived by his parents, Roger & Deborah Branscomb, his brother Tobi (Heather) Branscomb, aunts/uncles Ramona (Chet) Mattingly, Paul (Irene) Branscomb, Kevin (Linda) Branscomb, Calvin Branscomb, Judy (Jerry) Stultz, Kathy Long, Tom (Jodi) Cowan plus many much-loved cousins.

Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul & Darlene Branscomb, Richard & Marg Cowan as well as maternal aunt, Patricia Cowan and maternal uncle, Jim Cowan.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 6-8pm at Finch’s Funeral Home in Mt. Morris with graveside service on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 10am-11am at Lightsville Cemetery in Leaf River.
