Jean L Miller

Ashton, IL, Jean L. Miller, age 79, died Sunday July 27, 2014, in Serenity Hospice & Home, Oregon, IL. Jean was born November 12, 1934 in Omaha, NE the daughter of Loy & Margaret (Wilcox) Fisk. She married Daniel Miller on September 16, 1954 in Sparta, WI. Jean and Dan farmed in the Ashton area for over 40 years and retired in 1997. Jean was a member of the Ashton United Methodist Church and was very active in Church functions; including teaching Sunday school. She loved working on geneology for both the Fisk & Miller families. Jean is survived by her Husband: Daniel Miller, Ashton, IL; Sons: Neil (Susie) Miller and Gary (Kathy) Miller; Daughter: Nancy (Charles) Demrow. Grandchildren: Jason (April), Daniel, Barry, Justin Miller, Michael and Michelle Demrow. Brother: Warren (Janice) Fisk. Jean is preceded in death by her parents and Brother. Memorial service will be Thursday July 31, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in Ashton United Methodist Church, Ashton, IL with Rev. Sang Hun Han officiating. A private burial in Steward Cemetery, Steward, IL will be held. Memorials to Ashton & Franklin Fire Departments, Ashton United Methodist Church and/or Serenity Hospice & Home.
