Mt. Morris, IL - James Frank Martin, age 77, died on October 23, 2011 at his home. He was born in Chicago, IL., on August 24, 1934 to James and Dorothy (Smith) Martin. He married Delores L'Heaurx on January 8, 1955 in Rockford, IL. James came to Mt. Morris from Arkansas and has resided here for the last 17 years. He was employed as a driver for the distribution industry. He also had his own cab business. He is survived by two sons: Gary Martin of Mt. Morris; Greg (Becky) of Mt. Morris; Also eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and a special friend Ora Lee King, of Mt.Morris. Predeceased by his parents, wife, and two daughters Gody and Ginny Martin. Memorial services will be Saturday October 29, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. in Finch Funeral Home, Mt. Morris, IL. Visitation will be Saturday October 29, 2011 in the Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. until service time. Finch Funeral Home is assisting the family.
