Iva Berneice Maxwell

Forreston, IL, Iva Berneice Maxwell, age 87, passed away on December 9, 2018 in Serenity Hospice and Home, Oregon, IL. Berneice was born March 12, 1931 in Perry County, Arkansas the daughter of Lawrence R. & Iva M. (Payne) Bull. She lived in the northern Illinois area for 65 years, where she was a homemaker raising her children and helping on the farm; once her children grew and left the house she became a businesswoman in property management. Berneice is survived by her children: Kenny Maxwell, German Valley, IL, Randy (Suzie) Maxwell, Texas, Barry Maxwell, Rockford, IL, and Janet (Brian) Cunningham, Leaf River, IL; 7 grandchildren: Amanda Milton, Mark (Heather) Maxwell, Adam (Sheri) Maxwell, Seth Maxwell, Travis Cunningham, Jacob Cunningham, and Lee (Brittany) Cunningham; 8 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; 1 brother: Bobby Bull, Pecatonica, IL and 1 sister: Joyce (Gary) Lassiter, Naylor, MO. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Jack and Johnnie Bull; sisters: Doris McNatt and Billye Ruth Maxwell. Cremation rites have been accorded with Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL. A celebration of life will be held on Friday December 14, 2018 from 4: 00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. in the Mt. Morris Moose Lodge, Mt. Morris, IL. Memorials to be determined.
