Oregon, IL, Irma Ossmann, age 94, died Friday August 12, 2016 in KSB Hospital, Dixon, IL. Irma was born December 5, 1921 the daughter of Walter & Mayme Lee. Irma worked at Windcharger Electrical Company in Sioux City. IA, and when she moved to Mt. Morris and Oregon area she worked for Kable Printing Company and Kable News. Irma was a member of the Mt. Morris Ladies of the Moose since 1965 where she spent countless hours volunteering, she was also a member of the VFW ladies auxiliary. She enjoyed baking, fishing, bowling, and was an amazing seamstress. Irma is survived by step-children: Lee (Sue) Ossmann; Donald (Amy) Feary; Diana Buchanan; and Marla (Jeff) Spratt; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; nieces; nephews; and longtime friend: Girtie Paul. Irma is preceded in death by her parents: Walter & Mayme Lee; Husbands: Donald Feary and Ralph Ossmann; sisters: Wanda Pence, Norma Gulbronson; brothers: Clarence Lee, Joe Lee, and Peter Lee; step children: Dennis Feary, David Feary, Donna Zuniga, Kay Bothum; and grandson: David Martin. Graveside service will be held Friday August 26, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mt. Morris, IL followed by a service and luncheon at the Mt. Morris Moose Lodge. Irma was a very independent lady with a heart of gold. She was never considered a stepmother, she was just mom; and she will be greatly missed.
