Mt. Morris, IL, Henry H. Brechters, age 93, died Thursday March 12, 2015, in Neighbors Rehabilitation Center, Byron, IL. Henry was born April 4, 1921 in Paynes Point, IL, the son of Harry Brechters & Grace (Wiltfang) Brechters. Henry married Betty Wolfe in 1942 and she preceded him in death in 1978; he then married Anna E. Miller on November 4, 1978 in Mt. Morris, IL. Henry retired from Kable Printing as a bookbinder in 1989 after 42 years. He was a member of the Mt. Morris Church of The Brethren. Henry is survived by wife: Anna Brechters, Janesville, WI. Daughter: Lila L. (Richard) Grap, Rockford, IL, and Step-Daughter: Linda (Wendell) Boyer, Janesville, WI. Grandchildren: Rhonda (Pat) Marshall, Byron, IL; Lisa (Steve) Pierce, Stillman Valley, IL; Melinda (John) Conforti, Winnebago, IL; and Daniel Grap, Rockford, IL; 2 Step-Grandchildren: Bryan Boyer, Madison, WI, and Jessica (Joshua) Brand, Nashville, TN. Great Grandchildren: Allison and Adam Marshall, Byron, IL; Nicholas, Chloe, and Daniel Grap, Delores Conforti, Dakota and Morgan Pinkston Rockford, IL; Katrina Grap, Winnebago, IL; Grant and Brett Pierce, Stillman Valley, IL. Sister: Grace Henley, Rockford, IL. Henry is preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife, 4 sisters, and 1 brother. Funeral services will be Monday March 16, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. in Mt. Morris Church of The Brethren with Rev. Virginia Haney officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Dixon, IL. Visitation will be Monday March 16, 2014 from 9:30 A.M. until service time in the Church of The Brethren. Memorials to Mt. Morris Church of The Brethren.
