Gloria M. Ennenga

Mt. Morris, IL, Gloria M. Ennenga, age 78, passed away on Monday June 30, 2025 in Allure of Pinecrest, Mt. Morris, IL with her children by her side. Gloria was born on January 1, 1947 in Oregon, IL; the daughter of Harvey F. & Gladys P. (Drumheller) Smice. Gloria married Curt Ennenga on January 6, 1964 in Oregon, IL, and he preceded her in death on March 15, 2024.

Gloria loved to cook, she babysat many children over the years, camping, going with her husband Curt to the children and grandchildren's events, dancing and having a good time with her husband, and she kept a very clean home.

Gloria is survived by her children: Bridget Goley, Byron, IL; Curt (Sharon) Ennenga, Davis Junction, IL, and Melinda (Randy) Cox, Mt. Morris, IL; grandchildren: Matt (Jennifer) Goley, Byron, IL, Andrew (Rachel) Goley, Byron, IL, Kaitlyn (TJ) Becker, Prophetstown, IL, Erika (Ben) Wojcicki, Lexington, SC, and Marc (Sarah) Cox, Dixon, IL; 7 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, husband: Curt; 3 brothers: Frederick “Sonny”, Ronald “Monk”, and Robert “Babes” Smice, 4 sisters: Darlene Kaster, Betty Blake, Bonnie Barnhardt, and Beverly Noble.

Memorial service will be held on Tuesday July 8, 2025 at 11:30 A. M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL; with Rev. Rodney Caldwell officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Daysville Cemetery, Oregon, IL. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 8, 2025 from 10:30 A.M. until service time in Finch Funeral Home.
