Mt. Morris, IL - Gladys Marie Watts, age 88, died Monday October 31, 2011 at St. Anthony's Medical Center in Rockford, IL. She was born on July 8, 1923 to Henry Carl and Bessie Luella (Cain) Suter in Leaf River, IL. She married Herbert Watts on June 24, 1951 at the Mount Morris Church of the Brethren; he died November 16, 1997. She was owner/operator of the Beauty Nook in Byron, IL for 25 years. She was a member of the Byron American Legion Auxiliary (Past President) and the Ogle County Farm Bureau. She is survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and very special friends. Graveside Services in Lightsville Cemtery, Leaf River, IL will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2011at 10:30 A.M. in the Lightsville Cemetery, Leaf River, IL.
