Iowa City, IA, Ginger L. Kahler, age 45, died peacefully surrounded by her family in Oregon, IL on March 14, 2016. Ginger was born September 25, 1970 in Phoenix, AZ the daughter of Joseph Stacey & Evelyne (Gehant) McConnaughay. She married Scott Kahler on October 18, 2002. Ginger attended Grace Community Church. She was a loving wife and supportive sister, she had a passion for baking cookies and fundraising to raise awareness for PH. Ginger is survived by her Husband: Scott Kahler, Iowa; Brother and Sisters: Clark (Robin) Stacey, Texas, La Troy Townsend, Arizona, Jeff Boyenga, Illinois, Joe (Kathy) Stacey Jr., Arizona, Lisa (Tom) Schrader, Illinois, Amy Boyenga, Arizona, Barbara (Tom) Altenburg, Illinois, Barbara Boyenga-Charon, Arizona, Misty Halti, New Mexico, and Demel (Tommy) Rivera, Arizona; Parents: Joseph Stacey, Texas and Evelyne McConnaughay, Arizona. Mother & Father In-law: Wayne and Dorothy Kahler, Iowa; Sibling In-laws: Doug (LaVonne) Kahler, Terri (Mark) Taylor, Greg (Laura) Kahler, Brenda Enlow, Randy Kahler, and Rhonda Kahler. Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A gathering of friends and family for a celebration of life will be held from 2 P.M. until 6 P.M. on Saturday March 19, 2016 in the Gay & Ciha Funeral Home, Iowa City, IA.
