Oregon, IL, Gertrude J. Head, age 91 died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at her home. Gertrude was born June 6, 1921 in Princeton, IL the daughter of Joseph Adam & Ada Belle (McCall) Wiggim. She graduated from Bureau County High School and from Beauty School in Kewanee, IL. Gertrude married Joseph W. Head on September 4, 1940. Gertrude owned and operated her own Beauty Shop for 60 years, retiring in 1986. Gertrude was a member at St. Paul Lutheran Church Esther Circle, the Red Hat Society, and a "Boot Scoot'n Line Dancer with Yellow Bird Senior Center. Gertrude is survived by Daughters: Rose (Steve) Curtis, San Tan Valley, AZ; Cynthia (Jeff) Williams, LaMesa, CA. Son: Paul (Ginger) Head, Oregon, IL. 10 Grandchildren: Andy (Jan) Curtis, Edgewood, WA; Amy(Dan Cavanagh) Curtis, Byron, IL.
