Leaf River, IL, Geraldine E. Kretsinger, age 86, died March 12, 2012, in her home. Geraldine was born August 21, 1925, in Leaf River, IL, the daughter of Leslie & Leta (Schreiber) Kretsinger. She was a Leaf River High School Graduate class of 1943. Geraldine was a member of the Leaf River Historical Society and the Rock River Center in Oregon, IL. Geraldine was a travel agent in the Chicago area. She also helped her parents in the drug store and soda fountain in Leaf River, IL. Geraldine is survived by Several Cousins, and her special cat: (Sweetie). She is preceded in death by her Parents. Funeral service will be Friday March 16, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL, with Rev. David Poust officiating. Burial will be in Egan Cemetery, Egan, IL. Visitation will be Friday March 16, 2012 from 12:00 P.M. till service time in the funeral home. Memorials to Leaf River Historical Society and/or Rock River Center.
