Gerald James Unger

Mt. Morris, IL, Gerald J. Unger, age 92, passed away on May 23, 2024 in Allure of Pinecrest, Mt. Morris, IL.  Gerald was born on August 1, 1931 in Rochelle, IL.  He graduated from Mt. Morris High School.  Gerald served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.  He worked in the printing industry for his career and he retired at the age of 72.

Gerald is survived by his wife: Patsy Unger; daughter: Vicki (John) Glicken; brother: Roger (Shirley) Unger; sister: Anna Marie (Gary) Harper; nephew: Dr. Jim (Solvega) Unger.

Burial of cremains will be held in Plainview Cemetery, Mt. Morris, IL.
