Mt. Morris, IL, George W. Noble, age 88, died Friday February 8, 2013 in Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home, Mt. Morris, IL. George was born January 18, 1925 in Pine Creek Township, IL the son of Charles & Adelaide Faye (Bovey) Noble. He attended Mt. Morris Schools. George was in the US Army during WWII, serving in Japan. George married Mary Isabell Galyean on August 22, 1947 in Mt. Morris, IL. George was a farmer and he also tested milk for DHIA. He was a member of Mt. Morris Church of The Brethren. George was a handyman; he had his own way of fixing items. George was a quite modest man. George is survived by his Son: George W. (Brenda) Noble Jr., Oregon, IL; Son in Law: Roy Albertson, Benton, KY. Daughters: Cathie (Brian) Grover, Chana, IL and Shirley (Tom) McPhillips, Mt. Morris, IL. 11 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife: Mary Isabell; Daughter: Gail Albertson; Son: Charles Noble; Grandson: Lance Albertson and Great-Granddaughter: Felisha Albertson; Brother: John, and Sister: Adelaide. Funeral service will be Wednesday February 13, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL with Rev. Virginia Haney officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Dixon, IL. Visitation will be Wednesday February 13, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. till service time in Finch Funeral Home.
