Gene Allen Rycraft

Oregon, IL, Gene Allen Rycraft, age 51, died Friday August 2, 2013 in Oregon, IL. Gene was born August 7, 1961 in Chicago, IL the son of George E. & Norberta (Wagner) Rycraft. Gene worked at Quebecor World in the finishing department. He also worked at Oasis Landscaping LTD in Mt. Morris, IL. He also did construction work. Gene was very involved with numerous churches and very involved with helping the homeless and anyone that needed something done. Gene is survived by his mother and Step-Father: Norberta & Luke Calvert; Sons: Daniel and Rusty Rycraft; Grandson: Miguel Rodriguez. Sister: Sandy (Robert) Parks; Sister-in-Law: Shelah Rycraft. Nephews: William Kirby, Rudy Castillo, Marcelo Castillo, David and Kyle Harper. An Uncle and several Aunts. Gene is preceded in death by his Father: George Rycraft and Brother: Patrick Rycraft. Memorial service will be at 11:00 A.M. August 10, 2013 in New Life Assembly of God, 401 South 8th Street, Oregon, IL. Visitation will be August 10th, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. till service time in the Church. A funeral luncheon will follow the service in the Church. Gene is gone from us now, and we will meet him again someday. He will never be forgotten and loved eternally.
