Gary Dean Martin

Gary Dean Martin, age 62, passed away peacefully on May 14th, 2024,

surrounded by his loving family.

Gary was born November 8th, 1961 in Rockford, IL. He worked at Quality

Metal for 30+ years, and enjoyed being outdoors. Gary was a devoted

husband, father, grandpa, brother, and uncle.

In the years Gary lived in Mount Morris, he and his dogs enjoyed walking

the town and visiting the former Sharky’s, where they made lifelong friends.

Gary is preceded by his parents, James and Delores Martin, and sisters

Gody Jacobs and Ginny Harris.

Gary is survived by his wife, Tena Martin, his daughter Sara Zellers,

grandchildren Caleb, Trinity, Ayden, and Weiland Zellers, nieces and

nephew Shannon Martin, Anjel(Ginny), and Olivia Chavez, and his brother

Greg(Becky) Martin.

A celebration of life will be held on June 22, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. in the Mt. Morris Moose Lodge, Mt. Morris, IL.
