Gary G Hatfield

Mt. Morris, IL, Gary Gene Hatfield, age 58, passed away on February 13, 2020 in his home with his family by his side.  Gary was born April 8, 1961 in Fayetteville, NC the son of Herbert & Nellie (Brown) Hatfield. Gary married Doreena Travis in Mt. Morris, IL on August 20, 2016.  He worked in Construction.  Gary was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, and uncle.  He loved riding and working on his Shovelhead.  His smile, kind words, and laughter would brighten your day.  He would help anyone in need, and when he gave you his word he kept it.  He made such an impression on everyone he met.  He loved, lived, rode hard, and fought hard!  He will forever be loved and missed by so many people.

Gary is survived by his wife: Doreena; children: Wendy Hatfield, Cody Hatfield Butler, and Skyler Hatfield; grandchildren: Eli and Lavontre Hatfield; and Molly and Chase Keiper; brother: Doug Hatfield; sister: Debbie Hatfield; and many nieces and nephews.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, and infant twin brother and sister.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday February 22, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. in the Leaf River Valley Complex, 605 Main Street, Leaf River, IL.
