Garner D. Stevens III 55, passed away unexpectedly at Delnor Hospital in Geneva, IL. Garner was born on June 13, 1968, in Rockford, IL and was the son of Sharon (VanVelzer) Wallace and Garner Stevens Jr. Garner worked for Woods Equipment and Quality Metal for many years. He was an avid lover of music and cooking. He is survived by his children; Nathan (Samantha) Stevens, Christopher (Kendra) Stevens, and Mariah Stevens. Grandchildren; Alexander and Coral Stevens, Alexis, Nathan Jr., Oswald, Cleopatra, Solomon, Charlotte, and Richard Jr. Parents; Garner (Kelly) Stevens Jr. and Sharon (David) Wallace. Siblings; Renae (Mark) Stevens, Amy (Kapu) Aluli, step-siblings; Kellie (Rob) Gardner, Vicki DiPrima, and Daniel Wallace. Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
