Naperville, IL Frances Marian Bressler, age 81, died Tuesday March 28, 2017 in Tabor Hills Healthcare Facility, Naperville, IL. Fran was born Frances Marian Scheidler on April 12, 1935 in Coldwater, Michigan, the daughter of Rollin & Irma (Hanna) Scheidler. Fran was one of 8 children, brothers and sisters include; Beth Lou, Donald, John, Rollin, David, Irma, and Rebecca. She graduated from Coldwater High School class of 1953. After she graduated from high school she moved to Chicago, IL where she worked for the Burlington Railroad. Fran met Lewis Johnson and they were married June 10, 1961, and they had two children; David born August of 1962 and Anita born April of 1964. Lewis preceded her in death in September 1980. In 1982, Fran married long time friend, Donald (Don) Bressler, and moved to Moravia, Iowa where they spent many years enjoying Lake Rathbun. Donald preceded her death in September 1998. Fran was a member of the United Methodist Church in Moravia, Iowa; and she loved music, traveling, boating, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren. Fran is survived by her 2 children: David (Maggie) Johnson, Polo, IL and Anita (Ken) Pawlowski, Bolingbrook, IL; grandchildren: Nicole (Pawel Bujnowski) Pawlowski, David Pawlowski, and Matthew Pawlowski; 3 great grandchildren: Mia, Ava, and Lia Bujnowski; brothers and sisters: Beth Lou Zebolsky, Donald Scheidler, Rolly Scheidler, David Scheidler, Irma (Gordon) Hinckley, and Rebecca (Kenneth) Bible. Fran is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Lewis Johnson; husband: Donald Bressler; and brother: John Scheidler. Cremations rites have been accorded with Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL. Memorial services will be held in Coldwater, MI and Centerville, Iowa at a later date. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Centerville, Iowa.
