Mt. Morris, IL, Evelyn G. Hall, age 92, died Thursday March 23, 2017 at Presence St. Joseph Center, Freeport, IL. Evelyn was born on April 3, 1924 in Burlington, IL, the daughter of George S. & Evelyn (Tucker) Henderson. Evelyn married Kenneth J. Hall on April 8, 1944 in Sycamore, IL and he preceded her in death on July 28, 2004. Evelyn and Kenneth farmed in the Sycamore area until 1966 moving to rural Polo, IL. While farming along side her husband, Evelyn had chickens and would sell farm fresh eggs in the community. After selling the farm in 1998 they moved to Mt. Morris, IL. Evelyn is survived by her children: Carol (Tommy) McGee, Sycamore, IL and Randy Hall, Freeport, IL; 1 granddaughter: Jessica (Michael) Krise, Sycamore, IL. Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, husband: Kenneth J. Hall; 3 sisters: Arlene, Mareva, and Mildred. Funeral services will be held March 27, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL, with Rev. Virginia Haney officiating. Private family burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Sycamore, IL. Visitation will be held March 27, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Memorials to be established.
