Eva A Bennett

Eva Antoinette Bennett, 42, of Mount Morris, IL, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 19th.

She was born on Dec. 23, 1983, in Chicago, to Toni Marie (Aparo) and Ivan Krezol. Eva spent several years living in Alaska and Texas, until she relocated back to Illinois in recent years to help care for her father.

A talented singer, violinist, and artist, and an avid carer of dogs, cats, and chickens, she always placed others’ needs ahead of her own and stood firmly for her beliefs. She loved deeply, gave everything for those closest to her, and was someone you could always turn to—offering unconditional support and care to all around her.

Eva is survived by her cherished children, Haley and Jack, whom she shares with her former spouse; Logan Bennett of San Antonio, TX; both her parents; sister, Heather (Mike) Weirath of Phoenix, AZ; fiancé Paul Opacak of Sydney, Australia; and numerous extended family. She is reunited in peace with all her grandparents, but especially her beloved grandma Viera.

A memorial service will be held on May 7, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL 61054, with Pastor Rodney Caldwell officiating. Visitation will be held on May 7, 2026 from 5:00 P.M. until service time in Finch Funeral Home.
