Elva J Buser

Mt. Morris, IL, Elva J. Buser, age 94, died Sunday August 14, 2016 in Serenity Hospice & Home, Oregon, IL. Elva was born June 16, 1922 in Forreston, IL the daughter of William & Ceres (McLain) Hiteman. She graduated from Forreston High School class of 1940. Elva married Maurice Buser on November 20, 1946 in Forreston, IL and he preceded her in death. Elva was a beautician in the Mt. Morris Area. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Mt. Morris, IL; Mt. Morris Senior Center; Women of The Moose; and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Elva is survived by her sons: James (Maritess) Buser, Garland TX and Michael L. Buser, Galena, IL; 2 step-grandsons: John Paul and Kevin Diaz, Garland, TX. Elva is preceded in death by her parents, husband: Maurice; brothers: Merle, Donald, Wilbur, and William "Ole" Hiteman; sisters: Meitha McLaury, Erma Swank, and Josephine Fuhremann. Memorial service will be held on Thursday August 18, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. in Trinity Lutheran Church, Mt. Morris, IL with Rev. Frank Lay officiating. Burial will be in Adeline Cemetery on Wednesday August 17, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. Visitation will be Thursday August 18, 2016 in Trinity Lutheran Church from 9:30 A.M. until service time. In lieu of flowers memorials to Pinecrest Manor and/or Trinity Lutheran Church.
