Eleanore L Finfrock

Mt. Morris, IL, Eleanore Lucille Finfrock, age 94, passed away on Tuesday October 9, 2018 in Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home with her family by her side. Eleanore was born on August 6, 1924 in Davenport, IA the daughter of J. Henry Edward & Estella (Rutt) Frerichs. She graduated from Davenport High School class of 1943. Eleanore married John W. Finfrock on October 12, 1942 in LaGrange, MO and he preceded her in death on October 18, 2002. Eleanore worked as a Data Processer for Kable News Company for 25 years retiring in 1986. She was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother. Eleanore was a avid Cubs fan, she loved playing cards, she was one who saw the best in everyone and everyone saw the best in her, but her true love was having her family around her. Eleanore is survived by her children: John W. (Ellen) Finfrock IL, Mt. Morris, IL and Cindy (Bruce) Ferguson, Harvard, IL; grandchildren: Jon Ferguson, Jeff (Christine) Ferguson, Jason Finfrock, Amy Macleod; great grandchildren: Lynsey Ferguson, Gabriella, Sophia, and Alexandra Macleod, Ayla Finfrock. Eleanore is preceded in death by her parents, husband: John W.; one brother: Lyle; four sisters: Leola, Verdelle, Eilene, and Helen. Memorial services will be held on Friday November 23, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL with Rev. Tim Spickler officiating. Private family burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be held on Friday November 23, 2018 from 9:30 A.M. until service time in the funeral home.
