Earl A Miller

Mt. Morris, IL, Earl A. Miller, age 74 died Tuesday March 12, 2013 in Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home, Mt. Morris, IL. Earl was born December 18, 1938 in Fargo, ND the son of Chester & Esther (Fetting) Miller. Earl married Patricia Hambley on October 5, 1957 in Rock Falls, IL. Earl was a pipefitter and plumber with Kable Printing Company retiring in 2002; he was also part owner of Plum Electric for 12 years. He was a member of the Mt. Morris Church of The Brethren serving on the church board. Earl was a member of Sunset Golf Club, which he served on the board, member of the Mt. Morris Senior Center, which he served on the board. Earl loved fishing, golfing, spending winters in Texas, gardening, and most of all spending time with his Grandchildren. Earl did so much for so many people. Earl is survived by his wife: Pat Miller, Mt. Morris, IL; Sons: Jim (Janell) Miller, Forreston, IL; Roger (Colleen) Miller, Mt. Morris, IL. 7 Grandchildren: Jessica (Aaron Janes) Moser, Mt. Morris, IL; Deanna Leach, Oregon, IL; Nicki (Rick) Morningstar, Oregon, IL; Josh (Becky) Miller, Decatur, IL, Kari (Ryan Felkamp) Miller, Streamwood, IL; Amie (Brian Schelling) Miller, Leaf River, IL; Christie (Darrick Port) Miller, Milledgeville, IL. 10 Great-Grandchildren. 3 Brothers: Clifford (Friend Lois) Miller, Rock Falls, IL; Curtis (Muriel) Miller, Mt. Morris, IL; Dennis (Leona) Miller, Fulton, IL. Sister: Judy (Glen) Virgin, Henderson, NV. Several Nieces and Nephews. Earl is preceded in death by his Parents; Brothers: Duane (Bud); Lester; Gordon; Wallace; Gerald; Ronald. Sisters: Viola; Doris; Charlotte; Betty; Ruth; Joan; Mildred; and Ruby. Memorial service will be Saturday March 16, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Mt. Morris Church of The Brethren, with Rev. Virginia Haney officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Dixon, IL at a later date. Visitation will be Saturday March 16, 2013 from 12:30 P.M. till Service time in the Church.
