Leaf River, IL, Dustin L. Merriman, age 20, died peacefully on June 5, 2014 in Serenity Hospice & Home, Oregon, IL. Dustin was born June 8, 1993 in Rockford, IL the son of Dale & Theresa (Cagle) Merriman. Dustin was a graduate of the OCEC through Byron and Oregon, IL. Dustin loved music and dancing; Basketball, Balloons, and he truly loved Elvis and Barney. Dustin will be great missed by his whole family near and far. Dustin is survived by his father: Dale (Sarah Slater) Merriman, Leaf River, IL; Mother: Theresa Cagle, Rochelle, IL; Sister: Samantha "Sam" Merriman, Dixon, IL; 2 Brothers: Caleb Merriman, Oregon, IL; and Drake Merriman, Forreston, IL. Great-Grandparents: Lloyd & Darlene Merriman, Compton, IL; Grandparents: Dennis Merriman, Winchester, KS and Christine Merriman, Sycamore, IL. Several Aunts and Uncles, and several cousins. Dustin is preceded in death by his Great-Grandparents. Join us for a celebration of Dustin's life on Sunday June 8, 2014, his 21st birthday, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL 61054.
