Doug A Weidman

Polo, IL, Doug "Dude" Weidman, age 44, of Polo, IL died Saturday May 2, 2015, as a result of a motorcycle crash. Doug was born January 30, 1971 in Morrison, IL the Son of Charm (Mihelich) Weidman. He attended schools in Morrison and he graduated from Morrison High School class of 1989. Doug married Kim Ghibellini on August 24, 2014 in Colorado. Doug worked for Bocker Grain in Polo, IL at the time of his death. His passion in his life was hunting, fishing, and motorcycling. He never missed a day of either hunting or finding that special place to fish, and being sure to tell everyone about the big one that got away, he left a lasting memory with everyone that he met. Doug's pride was his 1965 Chevy Nova that he completely restored. Doug is survived by his wife: Kim Weidman, Polo, IL. Children: Breanna of Ventura, CA; Josh of Lanark, IL; Jessica & Hunter, Prophetstown, IL. Parents: Brent & Charm Dykema, Morrison, IL. Sister: Kristy (Franz) Jacobs, Evans, CO. Brother: Darren Dykema, Sterling, IL. Aunt: Tonia McReynolds, Pueblo, CO. Uncle: Butch Mihelich, Pueblo, CO. Stepchildren: John and Kennedy Ghibellini, Mt. Morris, IL. Doug was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Anthony & Shirley Mihelich. Memorial services will be held Friday May 8, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL with Ken Renkes officiating. Memorials to his Children has been established.
