Mt. Morris, IL, Doris Michael, age 89, died Monday March 23, 2015 in The Serenity Hospice & Home, Oregon, IL. Doris was born October 22, 1925 in Oregon, IL the daughter of Lloyd & Gerda (Johannesson) Hoffman. Doris graduated from Mt. Morris High School the class of 1943. Doris married Francis Michael April 26, 1947 in Oregon, IL. Doris was a secretary for Kable Printing Company retiring in 1987. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, she loved playing bridge, life member of the VFW Auxiliary, birthday and retired secretary clubs. Doris is survived by her Husband: Francis Michael, Mt. Morris, IL; 2 Daughters: Linda L. (John) Larson, Rock Falls, IL and Janet K. (Dennis) Black, Sterling, IL. Grandchildren: Valerie Larson, Rock Falls, IL; Matthew (Christina) Larson, Rock Falls, IL; Michael (Melissa) Black, Bloomington, IL; Douglas (Amanda) Black, Normal, IL; Jaime (Joshua) Peters, Bloomington, IL; Heather (Seann) Berrocales, Normal, IL. 15 Great- Grandchildren. Brother: Dr. Lloyd (Rebecca) Hoffman, Pleasant Grove, UT; 2 Sisters: Betty Coffman, Las Vegas, NV and Donna Lohse, Issaquah, WA. Doris is preceded in death by her parents. Memorial services will be held Friday March 27, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL with Rev. Josh Ehrler officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery, Mt. Morris, IL. Visitation will be Friday March 27, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. until Service time in Finch Funeral Home.
