Freeport, IL Donna Mae Bicksler, age 69, died Wednesday July 25, 2012, in her home after long battle with Pulmonary Disease. Donna was born August 26, 1942 in Freeport, IL, the daughter of Harm & Jerina (Johnson) Groen. Donna attended Leaf River Schools. Donna married Wayne C. Bicksler on May 21, 1976 in Freeport, IL. She worked for Kable Printing Company and she also worked at Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home as a CNA. Donna enjoyed sewing, crocheting, traveling, playing cards, and most of all being with and treasuring her Grandchildren. Donna is survived by her husband: Wayne Bicksler, Freeport, IL; 2 Daughters: Barb (Mike) Walker, Mt. Morris, IL and Susan (Bill) Tsoukalas, Clinton, CT; 4 Sons: Kenneth (Julie) Bicksler, Detroit Lakes, MN; Mark (Louise) Bicksler, Endwell, NY; Matt (Christinia) Bicksler, Bulimba, Australia; Scott (Virginia) Bicksler, Riverside, CA. 7 Granchildren: Alexis and Ethan Walker, Mt. Morris, IL; Chase and Aryn Bicksler, Endwell, NY; Jack and Tucker Bicksler, Bulimba, Australia, and Adam Bicksler, Riverside, CA. 2 Brothers: John (Nancy) Groen, Arkansas and Bill Groen, Byron, IL. Many Brother in Laws and Sister in Laws, Nieces and Nephews. Donna is preceded in death by her Parents, Granddaughter, Angelia DeCico. Funeral service will be July 30, 2012 at 11:30 A.M. in Finch funeral Home, 405 East Hitt Street, Mt. Morris, IL with Rev. Richard Bright officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Freeport, IL. Visitation will be July 30, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. till 11:30 A.M. in Finch Funeral Home. Memorials to Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home and FHN Hospice.
