Donald L Conklin

Mt. Morris, IL, Donald L. Conklin, age 57, died Wednesday July 2, 2014, after a short illness, while surrounded by his loving family. Donald was born on July 7, 1956 in Montrose, PA the son of Roland & Linda (Walters) Conklin. Don moved to Mt. Morris from Phoenix, AZ to work at Quebcor Printing. He was presently employed at Pinney Printing of Sterling, IL. Don spent many years coaching soccer and enjoying the country life. His family was his pride and joy. Don is survived by his wife: Jill Conklin, Mt. Morris, IL; Sons: Niklas Conklin, Mt. Morris, IL and Dakota Kubler, Woodstock, IL; Daughters: Crystal Evans, Orangeville, IL; Hannah Wagster, Prescott Valley, AZ, and Ivy West, Tumwater, WA; Nephew: Jacob Welch, US Navy; Parents: Roland and Linda Conklin, Franklin Forks, PA; and 7 Grandchildren. A celebration of life was held on July 5, 2014 on his family farm in Mt. Morris, IL. Finch Funeral Home is assisting the family with their wishes.
