Dennis M Styrsky

Oregon, IL, Dennis Martan Styrsky, 71, of Oregon, IL, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 28, 2015. Dennis was born on February 28, 1944, in Oak Park, IL, the son of Jerry and Slavka (Martan) Styrsky. Dennis graduated for University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM with a BS degree. Dennis served in the United States Army 5th Unit Army Band at Fort Sheridan, IL. He worked as Director of Contracting Medical Material, Department of Veterans Affairs, Hines, IL. Dennis enjoyed traveling and visiting friends in other parts of the country. He also enjoyed gardening, music and photography. Dennis remained active in helping organize 5th Army Band reunions. Dennis is survived by his wife Carol (Clementz) Styrsky, Oregon, IL, daughter Jennifer Styrsky, LaGrange, IL, son Christopher, Hyland Park, IL, and brother Jerry Styrsky, Oak Forest, IL.
