Denine M Grant

Denine Maxine Grant, 50, of Pecatonica IL (residing in Mt. Morris IL) passed away on Monday March 3, 2025. She was born on April 2, 1974 in Rockford IL to Dennis and Roline Milne. She never stopped working to be as educated as possible in her field of Early Childhood Education and graduated from Rasmussen College with a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education Leadership. She worked with toddlers her whole life and treated each and every kid she came across like they were her own. She poured her love and passion into her work and it was felt by everyone who knew her. She loved her family above all else - her kids Kayla and Kyle Anderson, her step-sons Kyle and Tyler Grant, and her granddaughter Alayna Dricker were her whole world - she would’ve moved mountains for them. Her friends, old and new, were always considered family as well and she did everything she could for everyone. It was an honor and a privilege to know her.

She is survived by so many who feel this loss greatly including her children, step-children, granddaughter, husband Jamie Grant, father Dennie Milne, brother Dennis Milne, sister-in-law Lynn Milne, Niece Halie Heller, cousin Beth Lucy and by the countless children who she taught with love.

Predeceased by many loving family members who are loved and missed, most of all her mother Roline Milne.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Finch Funeral Home in Mt. Morris IL on Saturday March 8, 2025 from 10 am-noon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to be distributed to the causes she cared most about.
