Forreston, IL, Delores Y. Moore, age 85, died Tuesday October 29, 2013 in Serenity Hospice and Home, Oregon, IL. Delores was born September 6, 1928 in Amboy, IL the daughter of Chauncey & Margaret (Ollman) Welsh. Delores graduated from Amboy High School class of 1946, and she attended Naperville North College, Naperville, IL. Delores married Robert Moore on May 21, 1966 in Cherry Valley, IL. She was very active with StoneCroft Ministries serving as an Area Representative and National Speaker for 30 years. Delores was also active with the Leaf River Baptist Church, 6941 N. Mt. Morris Road, Leaf River, IL 61047; serving the Church in many capacities. She was a professional seamstress and sewing instructor for all of her life. Delores is survived by her Husband: Robert Moore, Forreston, IL; Daughter: Kim Carlson, Rockford, IL; Grandson: Jay Johnson, Monroe, WI; Brother: Ron (Bev) Johnson, Monroe, WI; Sister: Maxine (Gus) Voss, Naperville, IL and Faun (Jack) Hill, Punta Gorda, FL, sisters-in-law Bonnie Pearson, Donna Welsh, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by Parents; Twin Brother: Doug Welsh; Sister: Billie Mae Welsh; and Stepmother: Fentie Welsh. Funeral Services will by Saturday November 2, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in Leaf River Baptist Church, Leaf River, IL with Rev. Randy Newton officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Repose Cemetery, Amboy, IL. Visitation will be Friday November 1, 2013 from 4:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. in The Leaf River Baptist Church, Leaf River, IL. Memorials to be determined.
