David Petro

Mt. Morris, IL, David Petro, age 59, passed away Friday February 20, 2015 in his home in Mt. Morris, IL. David was born May 19, 1955 in Geneva, Ohio, the son of William V. & Helen V. (Dodge) Petro Sr. David enjoyed fishing, hunting, volunteering at the church, helping others, and spending time with his family and friends. David was a member of Mt. Morris Evangelical Free Church. David served in the US Marines stationed in Okinawa, Japan. David is survived by his son: Jacob (Samantha) Petro, Bellefontaine, Ohio; Granddaughter: Guinivere Petro, Bellefontaine, Ohio. Brothers: William (Nikki) Petro Jr., Chattahoochee, FL and James (Dawn) Petro, Mt. Morris, IL. Sisters: Carolyn (Lyle) Pepin Jr., Madison, OH and Diane (Edward) Mikkelsen, Mt. Pleasant, PA. Many Nieces and Nephews. David is preceded in death by his Parents, and Infant Sister: Janice Petro. Memorial services will be held Friday February 27, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in Mt. Morris Evangelical Free Church, 102 S. Seminary, Mt. Morris, IL with Lance Mennen officiating. There will be a fellowship following the service in the church.
