David Allan Mccarty

David Allan McCarty, age 76, passed away January 21, 2023. David was born September 10, 1946, the son of Raymond and Mabel McCarty. He is the brother of Deanna Vernagus and James McCarty. He was a hard-working and giving man. He is survived by 10 children, 20 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. He is preceded by 2 children and 1 grandchild.

He was an avid model train hobbyist with a true love for N scale trains. He was a master of the art of Christmas lights, spent numerous years as a Scout Master with the BSA, and loved camping, fishing, and the outdoors.

We celebrate this man’s life, but when I say “man”, it was in body only because he was truly a child at heart.
