Curtis H Ennenga

Mt. Morris, IL, Curtis H. Ennenga, age 77, passed away suddenly in his home on March 15, 2024.  Curt was born on September 4, 1946 in Oregon, IL; the son of John P. & Catherine (Meyer) Ennenga.  Curt married his loving wife Gloria Smice on January 6, 1964 in Oregon, IL.

Curt was an avid outdoorsmen who loved to hunt, fish, and camp.  He was meticulous. Curt loved to go to all his children and grandchildren’s sporting events.  He loved to go to his great nephew’s dirt track racing in Freeport, IL.

Curt is survived by his wife of 60 years: Gloria Ennenga, Mt. Morris, IL; children: Bridget (Steve) Goley, Winnebago, IL, Curt (Sharon) Ennenga, Davis Junction, IL, Melinda (Randy) Cox, Mt. Morris, IL; grandchildren: Matt (Jennifer) Goley, Byron, IL, Andrew (Rachel) Goley, Byron, IL, Kaitlyn (TJ) Becker, Prophetstown, IL, Erika Waldsmith, Tiffin, IA, Marc (Sarah) Cox, Dixon, IL; 6 great grandchildren; 3 sisters: Mary Shook, Davis Junction, IL, Shirley (Roger) Unger, Rochelle, IL, Kate Ennenga, Oregon, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers: Roy and John; sister: Betty Roberts; and two infant siblings.

Memorial service will be held on Wednesday March 20, 2024 at 10:30 A.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL.  Burial will be held in Daysville Cemetery, Oregon, IL.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 20, 2024 from 9:30 A.M. until service time in the funeral home.
