Connie Jean Feary

Leaf River, IL, Connie Jean Feary, age 73, passed away on Friday February 21, 2020 in her home.  Connie was born on December 27, 1946 in Freeport, IL, the daughter of Dwight & Rosella (Christian) Hilliard.  She graduated from Leaf River High School class of 1965. Connie married William Amos Feary on January 18, 1964 in Leaf River, IL.  She grew up and raised a family in Leaf River, IL.

Connie loved gardening, crocheting, quilting, making doll clothes, going shopping, reading, going camping, and going on road trips with Bill in the camper.  Most of all she loved playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, playing cards and computer games.

Connie is survived by her husband: Bill Feary, Leaf River, IL; children: William A. Feary, Freeport, IL, Tammy J. (Feary) Shippert, Freeport, IL, and Allen (Jill) Feary, Leaf River, IL; grandchildren: Dawn Little, James Feary, Nichole Norris, Morgan Shippert, Michael Shippert, Maria Shippert, Joshua Suarez, and Hayley Feary; great-grandchildren: Michael Little, Lucas Norris, Griffen Norris, Maddox Stewart, Emerson Monigold, and Rowan Artman; sister: Carolyn (Mike) Scharfenberg, Sterling, IL.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, twin children: Patty and John; brother: Orville; and sister: Sharon.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 25, 2020 in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL at 10:30 A.M. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Oregon, IL.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 25, 2020 in Finch Funeral Home from 9:30 A.M. until service time.

In lieu of flowers memorials to be determined.
