Cindy K Pederson

Cindy Kay Pederson, 76, of Oregon, Illinois, passed away peacefully on the morning of September 14th, surrounded by loved ones.

Cindy was born to Everett and Sylvia Early. On July 29, 1950, she married the love of her life, Dennis Pederson June 13th, 1969, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage, memories, laughter, and a beautiful family. Cindy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis, and her children: Trina “Sue” Miller of Stillman Valley, Illinois; Cary (Eva) Pederson of Morris chapel Tennessee; Kelly (Mrs.Kelly) Pederson of Clinton Montana; Denise Pederson-Cox of Oregon, Illinois.

Cindy was a proud grandmother to Jeff (Chelsea) Miller of Roscoe, Illinois; Jessica (Jake Strickland) Bellone of Machesney Park, Illinois; Ashley (Anthony) Shelby of Rockford, Illinois; Jenise (Rich) Miera of Kenosha, Wisconsin; Mikayla (Shawn Smith) Cox of Sterling, Illinois; and Cheyenne Pederson of Great Falls, Montana.

Nothing brought Cindy more joy than her family, and she absolutely adored all 16 of her great-grandchildren. She also held a special place in her heart for her many nieces and nephews.

Cindy found happiness in the simple things in life. She loved spending a quiet, relaxing evening on her porch swing, watching the birds and enjoying the peace around her. She also treasured the many fishing trips she shared with Dennis and her family. These moments, surrounded by the people she loved, were among her greatest joys.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Sylvia Early; her sisters, Carol Jo Martin and Debra Glover, Melody Early and her brothers, Jack Heather, Tom Early, and Jeffery Early.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Jerry Early, sister-in-law Kathy Heather and countless loved ones who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Cindy's love, kindness, and devotion to her family will never be forgotten. Though she is no longer sitting on her porch swing watching the birds or enjoying a fishing trip with the people she loved, the memories she created and the love she gave will live on through the many lives she touched.

She was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed.
