Cheyenne Marie Gartman

Cheyenne Marie Gartman, 25, of Leaf River, IL died in a car accident on April 24, 2026. Cheyenne was a beautiful soul with a kind heart and untamable spirit; to know her was to love her. She was a little sister that never listened to her brothers, the big sissy that took the best care of her little sisters; and the best auntie Cheyenne to Hudson and Landon and the friend you could always count on. Cheyenne was the daughter I always wanted.

Cheyenne is survived by her father: Joey Gartman; mother: Lisa Peterson; 3 brothers: Cameron (Kendra) Peterson, Brandan Gartman, and Josh Segretto; 2 sisters: Shelby Lynn and Adrianna; 4 uncles: Anthony (Shelly) Peterson, Mike Peterson, Mel (Kalah) Peterson, and Eric Gartman; many cousins; 3 nephews: Emmitt, Hudson, and Landon; grandmothers: Barbara Peterson and Joann Gartman.

Cheyenne is preceded in death by many family members.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
