Carol Ann Wander

Rochelle, IL, Carol Ann Wander, age 63, passed away on August 12, 2018 in her home with her family by her side. Carol was born on June 13, 1955 in Downers Grove, IL the daughter of William & Loraine (Kubis) Vokoun. Carol graduated from Downers Grove High school, and she received two Bachelor's degrees from North Central College, Naperville, IL. Carol was a Lab Tech for Doctor's Data in Batavia, IL for 39 years. Carol was known as the rabbit lady in Northern Illinois, she loved Chana Auction, she gardened and bird watching. Carol is survived by two sons: Kris (Jamie) Wander, Dixon, IL and Bryce (Gaylen) Wander, Nampa, ID; 2 grandchildren: Aurora and Sloane Wander and 2 Step-grandchildren: Damien Crabb and Kyndall Fusselman, all of Nampa, ID; 1 brother: William Vokoun; several nieces and nephews; significant other: Les White. Carol is preceded in death by her parents. Memorial service will be held Saturday August 18, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL. Cremation rights have been accorded. Visitation will be held on Saturday August 18, 2018 from 12:00 P.M. until service time. In lieu of flowers memorials to be determined.
