Mt. Morris, IL, Carol Sue Pontnack, age 68, died January 4, 2015 in Rockford Memorial Hospital, Rockford, IL; Carol was a loving mother and wife. Carol was born April 12, 1946 in Kansas City, Kansas the daughter of John &Annabel (Hohstadt) Nystrom. Carol Married Melvin "Frizz" Pontnack on August 17, 1995 in Dollar City, MO. Carol was an excellent cook, Nascar Fan, and loved playing Euchre. Carol was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Forreston, IL. Carol is survived by 3 Children, 8 grandchildren, and 1 Great Grand Daughter. Carol is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Melvin; and Sister, Nancy. Memorial service will be Saturday January 24, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in St. James Lutheran Church, Forreston, IL with Rev. Steven Erickson officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial to be established
