Brian Robert Rice

Byron, IL. Brian Robert Rice, age 33, passed away peacefully in his home on June 4, 2021.  Brian was born on April 22, 1988 in Rockford, IL, the son of Randall & Anne (Sundmacher) Rice.  He graduated from Byron High School, class of 2006; Brian also received a B.S. in Advertising from University of Whitewater, class of 2010.

Brian had a strong Christian Faith and was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Rockford, IL.  He played on the Byron High School Golf team, was an avid Cubs fan, enjoyed playing trivia with family and friends, and was a Boy Scout, advancing to the level of “Life”. Brian will always be remembered for his kind heart, strength in the face of adversity, and wonderful sense of humor.

Brian is survived by his parents: Randall (Anne) Rice; sisters: Julie (Trent) Urbanek and Michelle Rice; grandmother: Rosemary Spooner; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial services will be held on June 28, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2821 N Bell School Bell School Road, Rockford, IL.  A Celebration of Life immediately follows his services.

There will be a private interment of his cremains in the church columbarium.
