Mt. Morris, IL, Bradley D. Pfoutz, age 67, passed away on Thursday July 5, 2018 in Serenity Hospice and Home, Oregon, IL with his wife by his side. Brad was born February 7, 1951 in Rochelle, IL the son of Dean E. & Mary Jane (Majors) Pfoutz. Brad graduated from Ashton High School class of 1969. He joined the United States Army in 1969 and was discharged from the service in 1976. Brad married Helen Pazera on December 14, 1973 in Oregon, IL. He worked as a line splicer for the local phone company, but he retired from Frontier in MN. Brad was and avid fisherman where he enjoyed his annual fishing trips to MN with his fishing buddies, and he was a beer drinker. His love was his grandchildren, where he would drop anything thing for them. Brad is survived by his wife: Helen Pfoutz, Mt. Morris, IL; children: Candy (Kenny Jacobson) Walstad, Byron, IL; Randy (Michelle Cupp) Martin, Byron, IL; Stephanie (Matt) Freeze, Mt. Morris, IL; grandchildren: Jessica Walstad, Lake Wisconsin, WI; Shane Martin, Jacksonville, FL; Lindsey (David) Lantz, Oregon, IL; Colton & Emmalyn Freeze; 4 great grandchildren; brother: Rodney (Pat) Pfoutz, Cherry Valley, IL; Sister: Kathy (Eric) Peterson, Dixon, IL; and special niece: Kathryn Pazera, Oregon, IL. He is preceded in death by his parents: Memorial services will be held on Saturday July 7, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL with Rev. Randy Snider officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday July 7, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until service time in Finch Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials please to Serenity Hospice and Home.
