Mt. Morris, IL; Betty J. Remmers, age 69, died Friday September 28, 2012 in Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home. Betty was born July 9, 1943, in Dixon, IL the daughter of Leslie & Jeanette (Good) Kitzmiller. She graduated from Forreston High School class of 1961. Betty Married Louis B. Remmers on July 19, 1976 in Princeton, IL, Louis preceded her in death in November 1987. Betty was a bartender at various locations in the area for many years. Betty and her husband operated Louie's Place in Mt. Morris, IL. In later years, she was employed by Dawson Subscriptions and Kable News Fullfillment Company. Betty is survived by Son: Jason (Michelle) DeArvil, Dixon, IL; Step-Daughters: Janice (Bob) Maas, Stillman Valley, IL; Carol (Olie) Warning, Rochelle, IL; and Sharon (Mike) Crase, Kirkland, IL. Grandchildren: Allison, Kirsten, and Natalie DeArvil, Dixon, IL; 4 Step-Grandchildren: Deborah Maas, Stillman Valley, IL; Lisa (Jeff) Froman, Rolling Meadows, IL; Sarah (Steven) Whitmore, Rockford, IL, and Jennifer Warning (Kristine Aquisap), Bolingbrook, IL. 8 Step-Great-Grandchildren; Sister: Judy Miller, Mt. Morris, IL; Sister-in-Law: Judy Kitzmiller, Forreston, IL; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and many special friends. Betty is preceded in death by Parents; Husband: Louis; Brother: John Kitzmiller, and Step-Grandson: Mike Maas. Memorial service will be Saturday October 6, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL with Rev. Richard Bright officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Plainview Cemetery, Mt. Morris, IL. Visitation will be Saturday October 6, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. till service time in the funeral home.
