Mt. Morris, IL, Betty McNett, age 91, died on Saturday January 30, 2016 in The Brookdale Senior Living, Rockford, IL. Betty was born on December 2 3, 1924, the daughter of Dudley & Florence (Stull) Allen. Betty is a Graduate of Mt. Morris High School Class of 1942. She married Richard McNett 2/19/46. Betty retired from Kable News 1986. Betty is survived by her children and their spouses, Steven & Chris McNett, Dave & Deb McNett; Kristan & Mike Lauer, all of Rockford, IL. Grandchildren and their families; Brian and Molly McNett, Madeline, George and Will of Cleveland. Bryn and Tim Martinek, Maryn, Carly and Ben of Yorkville. Extended Lauer families, David Lauer family, John Lauer family, Jason Lauer family, Zac Lauer family, Jeremy Voss, Chicago, IL. Numerous nieces and nephews, Sister Jean Gecan of Mt. Morris, Special family Ron and Jody Dahmen, Beth and Katie. Beloved pup Tanner. Betty is Predeceased by husband 7/29/11. Memorial service will be held Thursday February 4, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in Disciples United Methodist Church, Mt. Morris, IL with Rev. Dwight Stewart officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday February 4, 2016 from 9:30 A.M. until service time in the church. Memorials to Disciples United Methodist Church and/or charity of choice.
