Bebe Marcella Ross

Bebe Marcella Ross, age 87 passed away peacefully at home, after a long illness on Friday February 14, 2014. Bebe courageously battled multiple health issues for several years with dignity and a sense of humor. She was born December 22, 1926 in Dayton Ohio the daughter of James & Ida Brown. A 1944 graduate of Byron High School she then married Robert Ross on October 15, 1966 in Rockford, Illinois. Bebe was at her best providing care, meals and gifts to her family and friends. Bebe had an extensive Angel collection and enjoyed celebrating the holidays. Bebe enjoyed all of nature's gifts including spending significant time out in her yard. Bebe is survived by her Husband Robert, Children Steven (Carol) Walters, Joanie (Dean) Carlson, grandchildren Jaime Walters, Brenda (Nate) Tanker, Andrew Walters, James Curtiss, Elizabeth Curtiss, great grandchildren Evelyn and Miles Tanker; sister Beatrice (Maury) Repinski; sister-in-law Helen Floyt; nephews Brad and Bob Hufford and many dear friends. The family wishes to express gratitude to Dede Klein and Heartland Hospice in Rockford, Illinois with special recognition to Amy and Lacey who all provided special and delicate care prior to her passing.
